Timesha
Absolutely incredible & inspiring.
We joined a group of 118 lenders by contributing $25 to Timesha’s microloan on January 23, 2021.
When we came across Timesha, her story stopped us in our tracks. We had no choice but to lend to this remarkable woman.
Timesha’s infant daughter was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy, which affects all four limbs and requires leg braces. But all of the shoes attached to the leg braces were “too big, too heavy, and too plain”.
What she did next is the personification of being an entrepreneur… Timesha trained at a local shoemaker to learn how to design a shoe that corrects the issue. Then, she started a business that offers customized and stylish shoes that include a heel integration that form fits around the leg brace.
