Rose

A single mom looking to transform her business and life selling cereal.

We joined a group of 15 lenders by contributing $25 to Rose’s microloan on December 25, 2021.

Rose is a single mother of 2 living in the Kapsabet area of Kenya. She loves her children and will go the extra mile to provide for them.

Her life has been challenging and she has faced many economic problems. For the past 10 years, her primary source of income has come from selling milk, crop farming, and poultry farming. However, demand for cereal has increased in her area so she was seeking a loan to expand her business to purchase cereals to re-sale in hopes of improving her income.

Long term, Rose’s goal is to open a cereal-selling shop that could create enough income to turn her life around.
