Epiphanie

A successful businesswoman who is creating jobs for others.

We joined a group of 213 lenders by contributing $50 to Epiphanie’s microloan on August 8, 2021.

Epiphanie and her husband own an electronic appliance shop located near one of Rwanda’s refugee camps.

The couple’s entrepreneurial journey began 10 years ago when they opened a grocery store together. Over the years, the success they’ve achieved has enabled them able to purchase additional business premises, farmland, rental houses, and even their own home. Additionally, the income from her business has helped them send children to school.

But what we found very amazing is that Epiphanie and her husband’s business have helped to improve the living standards of the people from the refugee camp and their community by providing them with job opportunities.

Entrepreneurs creating jobs. Really awesome!
