Reyhan

Needs a new sewing machine for her tailoring shop

We joined a group of 24 lenders by contributing $50 to Reyhan’s microloan on August 9, 2021.

Reyhan lives in rural Turkey and is married with six children. She began working various jobs to help support her family because her husband did not have a steady income.

In 2010. her friends introduced her to microcredit and that’s when she borrowed her first loan. She was able to build up enough capital to open up her own tailoring shop. This is a great example of the power of microcredit and being involved with microlending. And it’s the reason we are doing it – to create change in people’s lives so they can support their families and transform their economic position in life.

Reyhan was requesting this loan to buy a new sewing machine for her tailoring shop.
