Our loan to Nicole was our 10th overall.
But more than that, it was our first loan made using redistributed funds (from repayments). This was meaningful for us because redistributing our funds (helping as many people as we could) was the fundamental reason we chose Kiva to build our social impact layer upon.
This created a new meaning behind some of our loans where the entrepreneurs making repayments helped contribute to new loans. Our families were now in this together. Faostine’s repayment back to us helped fund our loan to Nicole.
This is awesome. It’s spreading love. We call them multigenerational loans.
